Best way to Jog

Hey again. As most of you know the government is organizing a nationwide run this saturday. It will be held at all government schools if I am not mistaken. It is not a cross country as that has done in the beginning of the year. It is a run to commemorate the governments new inishative which is 1 Sukan, 1 Murid, 1 Malaysia which means 1 Sport, 1 Student, 1 Malaysia or something like that. I am not going to go any deeper into that topic. I will however tell you that today marks my 300th KM since October in jogging. I am not going to write about that either.

What I am going to write about is the best way to jog. This is based on my experience and it might be wrong but hopefully it wont. Let us start.

Firstly, I recommend you jog accompanied with music. It makes you forget about the pain and keeps you in a steady pace. Today I had to run without my iPod since it was out of juice. I can tell you one thing, the running gets really boring. How many times do I need to hear my feet stepping onto the pavement. I could not keep in pace and was lacking a certain energy boost.

Secondly, make sure you are wearing clothes that are comfortable. I wear a normal cotton shirt but it is all wet by the end of the run. The dry fit shirts which absorb your sweat are known to be very good. I like wearing sports shorts and can't stand the feeling of track pants. What you wear is all up to you but make sure you have a good pair of shoes. They don't have to be expensive but just good.

NEVER start running fast in the beginning of your run. It is a death sentence especially if you are planning to jog the whole distance. Start nice and slow and get into an appropriate pace. Try to end a jog at the same speed you started it at.

Now if you just started jogging, don't try to jog the whole way. I have done research and for a beginner, its best to jog for 1 minute and walk at a fast pace for 5. As you improve jog more and walk less. Always start with doing a run you know you can finnish. Don't go straight for the marathon.

When you run, try to keep your feet as close as possible. According to my doctor, you use less energy if your feet are closer. It really works. You run faster using the same amount of energy if you practiced this habit.

ALWAYS stretch before and after your run. Honestly I rarely stretch after my runs but before is a must. If you don't you will experience major pains during you run. So much that you will have to stop. It is like a never ending cramp. I have noticed (and so has a few of my friends) that if I take orange juice before jogging I will have severe pains during the jog. That could just be me but I would still recommend to avoid the drink well before going for a run.

I have given almost everything I know about how to jog. I really had nothing to post and looked at my shirt which was soaking wet from my run. I thus decided to write about jogging. Until next time, bye.

Wii U

Hello again. Since I rarely post, I decided to do two post in one day since I am free. Yesterday Nintendo announced the Wii U at the E3 Expo. The Wii U is the next generation Wii. In Nintendo's presentation they mainly focused on the new remote that comes with the new Wii U. I don't know why they did not pay much attention to the system itself.

Now the new system is powered by a IBM Power®-based multi-core microprocessor. I have no idea what that is. What I am sure of that it will support Full HD gaming. Am I happy. No, I am MORE THEN HAPPY!! That is very good news. People speculate that the picture will be on par or just a little lower then the X-BOX 360. Thats enough for me. To provide this HD gaming experience, Nintendo have decided to use HD DVD's which are currently used for the X-BOX 360 if I am not mistaken. That is all I, and most people know about the system thanks to Nintendo's lack of explaining it. I am now forced to write about the controller as Nintendo threw a whole book about it at us.

The controller looks like a Tablet except that it comes with two toggles, a control pad and the X,Y,A and B buttons. It also has two sets of L and R buttons. Not to mention the mic, camera and 6.2 inch touch screen. It is all there to create a new gaming experience. With this new controller, you don't need the TV on to play your games as you can just play it on the controller. But don't think it can also work as a portable device. It has to be in a certain range to work with the Wii U.

With this new controller, there are several ways to play your games. One ways is like how I stated above by playing your games on the controller itself. Another way is by using the TV on the screen and the controller just gives you extra information like a map of your game. This is to make your gaming experience more smooth and simpler. The third way you can play a game is by using the controller and tv which will interact between each other. For example, you can play a game of tag. The person who uses the new controller is the one being chased and has more information on his screen. The other four players using the normal wii mote use the TV screen to chase player 1. It all looks very fun.

Nintendo have not released any information regarding the date it will come out or the price it will be selling at. All they told us is that it is coming out next year. I guess we will all have to wait but one thing is for sure. I want it!

X-Men: First Class

Well, I have no idea what to blog about today. I did my new car, my video games and I think I have done enough posts about what I do during the holiday. I just saw X-Men: First class so I guess I will give a review on that movie.

Let us start with discussing the other X-men movies first. I just watched X-Men 1 for the 4th or 5th time a few months ago so I can still remember a bit about it. That movie, to me at least, was mainly based around wolverine. I must say I really love his character. In the beginning he is a bad ***, cares about his own life and really does not know what is happening around him. What do you expect from a guy who can't remember his past and can never die. As the movie goes on he changes into a person who actually has feelings. Anyways, X-men 1 was very good if you ask me.

I can't really remember X-men 2 to be honest. People say it was very good so I will just agree with them. I do on the other hand remember X-men 3. The difference I can really notice between X-men 1 and 3 is that 3 has taken a darker side and they had more money to blow. In this movie the worried American government and its people wanted the mutants out! (in a way). The government was trying to force the mutants into becoming humans by using some medicine and all. Anyways, all I remember is that there was a big fight scene and the X-Men won. To me, X-Men 3 was good but not as good as the first.

Now if you can all remember, a few years ago X-Men Origins: Wolverine came out. Obviously it was based around Wolverine and his sad little life. In this movie he discovers his past and well kills people, BAD people. To me it was an okay movie. I can barely remember it but it was not the worst. Others thought otherwise. Whatever it is, it could not have been that good because they did not put the word "Origins" in their new movie because they did not want to associate it with the Wolverine movie even though the new movie does tell the story of the origins of X-Men.

Now to X-Men first class. Its about how Professor Xavier (I will call him Prof. X) and Magneto came to be. Obviously they were not called those names until the end of the movie but lets just keep things simple. The main story begins when this CIA agent (Name erased from my memory) comes across Shaw (the bad guy) without being noticed. Shaw is the guy who killed Magnetos mom so Magneto has been looking for him his whole life to do one thing, kill him. Anyways, this CIA agent sees Shaw and his team do their "magic" and reports it to the government. And what is the government doing.

Well they are busy with the cold war. If you don't know what the cold war is, google it cause it is very interesting. The CIA being wonderful just ignores the agent until she finds Prof. X and Mystique (Prof.X step sister you could say) to prove them wrong. Now Prof X and Magneto take on a mission to find mutants throughout the planet to recruit them! In a good way. (Prof X and Magneto meet each other when Magneto tries to kill Shaw but is stopped by Prof X.) So now they are going around looking for mutants and they develop a very good relationship. So good that I felt bad that they were going to become enemies.

I am not going to explain much about the mutants they found. All I am going to tell you is that they put them all in a secret CIA base where they were kept safe. So they thought. One day Shaw and his gang decide to have a trip to the base to bring those mutants to the bad side but not before killing like a billion guards. That was awesome. In the end only one mutant followed Shaw and one dyed trying to save them all.

The US government on the other hand has put nuclear warheads in Turkey. This makes the Russians worried and they plan to put their warheads in Cuba. All of this is being orchestrated by Shaw as he wants all the humans dead. Bad, bad Shaw. The Americans warned the Russians that if they come to Cuba  they will take it as an act of war against the United States of America. Who else can save they day if not the X-men!!

Once reaching Cuba, the X-men can only look as the tentions run high between the Russians and the Americans. In the last minute the Russian government orders their ship carrying the nuclear warheads to stand down and it is received by the Russian Armada but not the one ship they want to stop, the ship carrying the nuclear warheads. This is because Shaw wanted to make sure everything followed as planed so he killed the crew and sent one of his men to guide it.

The X-Men have no choice but to destroy the ship. After destroying it, Magneto uses his powers to bring up a submarine under the sea in which Shaw is present. The sub was to heavy and they all crashed onto the beach. Magneto goes into the submarine, which is now on the beach, to kill Shaw. Long story cut short he killed him but in doing this he turned to the dark side. As he steps out of the submarine he has a fight with Prof X. NO!! Suddenly the Russians and Americans are working together. They find that the mutants are a threat and decide to bombard the beach with their weapons. They did not know of magnetos power. All the missiles that were shoot to the beach were turn backwards by him and directed to the fleet. Prof X had no choice but to punch him. In the end, the fleet was speared but Prof X became crippled because of the fight he had with Magneto. They both took their separate ways and the movie ended.

I must say, it was an awesome movie. Well written and the cast fit the characters perfectly. The only thing that I had a problem with was that the CGI looked to fake so the big action scene did not seam real. If you had to go out and watch a movie today, I will tell you this, if Super 8 is full, watch First Class.

Hyundai Sonata

Just last week I got my new car, the Hyundai Sonata which is Hyundai's sedan model. Before getting it I was hoping to get the Peugeot 3008 but in the end, I had to agree with the need for more space in our next car. This is my review on the car. First,

The Good:

"This is a sexy car". These will be the first words you say when you see this car. It's body is simply elegant and aerodynamic. Usually, when thinking about getting a sedan, you think of a long car which is ugly and dull. It is not the same for the Sonata. It is shorter then other sedans which makes it easier to park and if you look at it from the front, it sticks out from the rest.

This car also has a lot of space. It is shorter then the new Accord but yet I feel there is more leg room in the Sonata. You will be surprised at how much space you get in it. The car trunk is massive! If you were in the mob and could not afford a BMW, you would get a Sonata. You could easily fit a body in there and drive of. (Dear me I tried it with my sister) It is deep and long. The back chairs can also fold down if you need to fit more things into that trunk.

The interior of the car is also very nice. The seats feel like they were maid just for you and the radio is simple to use. You can connect you ipod or any MP3 player to it but I am not going to write about that since a Myvi can do that to. I am going to write about the sun and moon roof. First let me make sure you are not confused. The sun roof is above the drivers seat and the moon roof is above the back passengers seat. Now why they have two names is because the sun roof can open up to see guess what, the sun while the moon roof cannot be opened but is used to see the moon. So make sure when you are out in the morning to look out the Sun roof and not the moon roof. These roofs let in tons of light which makes the car feel more roomy. It also gives you a different perspective to look at something. Say bird dung. You have seen it from the side and top but have you actually seen it from the bottom. I have yet to investigate this matter.

This car is full with power. I got the 2.0 but it is still faster then my old Accords 2.4. Most cars these days are but still, that is very good news. You would think with power comes a very noisy car. Well no. Before I could hear my parents coming home so I could go and turn off the tv and pretend to study but now they come in and there I am watching the CSI kill Justin Bieber.

The Bad:

It reminds you that it is still a Hyundai. Lets start with the horn. It is the gayest horn I have ever heard. It's like they took the horns out of the lame Matrix and decided to put it into their Marilyn Monroe Sonata. Totally destroys it. Next is the plastic on the back of the front seats. Now a Honda or Toyota would have leather at the back of the seats but this is just plastic. It is just sad. Also the seat belt seems like it was from a proton.

Don't expect to many compartments in the car. They are a few in the front but none in the back. You only get a cup holder on the hand rests. Nowhere to keep your DSLR, PSP or food. Just have to put it on the seat which is difficult when you have 5 people in it.

Conclusion

All in all, the Sonata is a very good car. It's sexy, spacious and young. I would give it a 8/10.

Taman Negara

Last weekend, during the labour day holiday, me and my family took a trip to the National Park in Pahang. This is my review.

Our destination in the National Park was Kuala Tahan. To get there, you have two choices, you can take a car which would be around one hour, or take a boat ride which would be around 2 1/2 hours. We took the boat ride. I have to say, never take the boat ride. It is uncomfortable and there is not much to see on the way there. You get so bored that 15 minutes in I had my ipod out which defeats the purpose of the ride, that is to connect with nature and forget tech.

So anyways, we stayed at a resort called the Mutiara Resort. It is the only big resort there so if you are a picky city boy, thats the only place they got for you in the National Park. The rooms are decent and big. There is not enough lighting in the room, so may it be morning or afternoon, it still feels like it is the evening. It can make you a bit depressed, just a bit. If you go to that hotel, you can take a package which gives you a guided night walk, jungle track, canopy walk and a trip to a river to swim. We took that package.

Around 8 pm on the first night, we went for our night walk. It was one of the best night walks I have ever been to. We saw snakes, spiders, scorpions and more. It was around 2km and at the end, we planned to go into a Hide.( a structure which you can go in and it faces an open piece of land in the forest in which you can see many different animals) The problem was, everyone wanted to go into the hide. In the end we went there around 11 pm. That was scary. The hide is in the middle of the forest and you are out there at 11. We saw dears and stuff which was good, but still, very scary.

For meals, we stayed at the hotel because with the package, you get all your meals for free. There is not much selection but the food is really tasty. (buffet style meals) For breakfast, you would get your eggs, fried rice and pancakes. There would also be deserts and bread plus other things. During lunch and dinner, you mainly have local food. The only western food they have is the spaghetti which does not taste that great. I think just stick with the local food as it is tasty and filling.

Early on the second day we went for a guided jungle track. We were taken up a hill to 2 lookout points where you could see a lot of the National Park and also Gunung Tahan. The walk up there is tiring. It is around 4km up hill. The first 3km up is very easy and you get it done in less then 30 minutes, but it is the last 1km that really kills you. During this walk, you get to see all types of plants and insects. It is really beautiful and once you reach the top, you feel proud of yourself.

On your way down, you will pass by the canopy walk. If you want to go on it (and you should) be ready to wait at least 2 hours as the lines are very long. The way they know who is next is by taking your names like they do in Chilies. Since we had a guided tour, our name was put early on so once we got there we could go up straight away. Maybe you would also want to do that because the canopy walk is so nice you would not want to miss it.

In the evening of that day, we took a boat out to a river where we could swim. This boat ride was around 30 minutes. Do you remember how I said the boat ride to the Hotel was not that great, well this is not the same. The boat ride was simply magnificent. The river was beautiful and the trees would cover you from above even if you are in the middle of the river. There are even rapids. Once you get off the boat, you have to walk about 1.2km to your swimming area. The swimming area is located next to some huge rocks and you will have to be careful on your way down. For those who do not know how to swim, you better not because there are rapids near to the area you swim. If you get caught in it, well you better have 7 lives. In that one day, I managed to walk 11km. Man was I happy.
On monday we got ready to go home. Nothing much really happened on that day. For those who are thinking of going to the National Park, this is what you could expect:

1. Beautiful sights
2. Hot water
3. Good food
4. Wildlife
5. Fun
6. A big projector to watch football matches

What you will not get:

1. Free internet
2. Cellular network

One thing is for sure, we are blessed to have such a beautiful National Park, and it should be your duty to visit it but remember only take pictures, and leave only footprints. I mean it, if you take a rock or something and you see a ghost the next night, don't get angry at me.

UNIFI

As we all know, TM has released their High Speed Internet last year which is called UNIFI. I got it a few months ago and I think it is time that I give a review on it. As most of you know, there are three packages you can pick from. I got the VIP5 package which gives you the max speed of 5mbps. I will break up my review into five segments, which is:

1. What you get for your money

When I got UNIFI they were having a promotion so I could install UNIFI for free. If there was no promotion on the other hand, I would have to pay an installation fee which if I am not mistaken is RM200. These promotions come around every now and again so if you do want to get UNIFI, you should wait for one. With the UNIFI package you get a free dect phone, modem, router, hypp tv basic channels and a few different softwares. These come free with all three packages.

The only difference between VIP 5, 10 and 20 is the speed and monthly price. For VIP5, you pay RM150 per month. This is only a RM10 difference from stremyx's 4mbps. I think, if you get UNIFI during a promotion, you get a lot for your money but then again, if you do end up paying for the RM200 installation fee it makes you feel that you have been cheated.

Overall, I give UNIFI 7/10 for what you get for your money.

2. Internet Speed

Before I got UNIFI I was using stremyx's 1mbps. Because of this I can really see the difference in internet speed with UNIFI. When I watch YouTube, I only have to wait around 20 seconds before I can watch a full HD video without any interruption. Using normal websites on the other hand such as Facebook, I can't see any difference. Maybe the page opens slightly faster then before, but nothing to shout about. Downloading has improved drastically. I don't have an exact figure on how fast it is but a whole season will only take a few hours to download.

Gaming has also improved. I used to have a hard time playing call of duty before online. I needed to off my downloads so all my internet speed was focused on my game. Now I don't need to do that but my FiFa 11 lags a lot still. This could be caused by many factors. I think it is because the other person I am playing with has slow internet so myne also gets slow. I don't know.

Overall, I am happy with the speed even if it can get a bit slow on the weekends. I give it a 8/10.

3. Hypp Tv

As I told you, hypp tv comes free with your Unifi package. It is something like Astro but you can still enjoy it when it rains. The only thing you get free actually are the basic channels. They have other channels but they cost a lot and they don't have that many shows that are as up to date as astro which is also very late in getting its shows. For example, on astro we are already on season 11 for CSI, but on Hypp tv, they are only on season 5. Those channels are also not cheep. One channel can cost up to RM6 per month.

The good thing with hypp tv is that you get Videos on Demand or VOD. VOD's are shows or movies on which you can buy and watch. The movies they have on their VOD are kinda new. They have Toy Story 3, Salt, Prince of Persia and many more. They do have the latest seasons of CSI, but you have to pay for them. Hypp Tv also comes with interactive tv or iTV. iTV lets you watch trailers of new movies, go to TED.com and read the news. It's a cool feature but not used that much.

As you know, I use 5mbps. This makes my hypp tv lag a lot cause 5mbps is the slowest of all three packages. This makes it hard to change channels and sometimes makes you want to throw the remote and hug your astro decoder.

Overall, I must give Hypp tv a low rating: 5/10. This is caused by the number of channels which are not even 40, the price you pay for it and the lag.

4. Dect Phone

With UNIFI you get a free Dect Phone and number. With this number you can call all land lines for free. Cool, yeah I guess so but how many people still use land lines. The clarity of it is also not good. It always sounds like you are in a plane and if the power goes out you can't use the dect phone because it is connected to the modem.

The cool thing about the dect phone is that you can connect other dect phones to it wirelessly. Because of this, I now have three dect phones. One in the living room, one in the tv room and one in my parents room. I think the Dect Phone deserves a solid 7/10

5. Overall (Again)

I think UNIFI is very good. Yes, maybe hypp tv is not the best and sometimes the speed is slow and stuff but I still think it is very good. Because of UNFI i can now stream videos directly from my computer to my tv. I must give UNIFI a 9/10. Thats right 9/10.

Long Time No See

Hello again. Sorry for not posting for so long. It seems that every time I post something new, I would start by saying what I just said. It's not that I don't have any time to post, its just that I keep forgetting about it. I am just not the blogger type person. Well I am since I am still posting, its just that I am not a very frequent blogger. I might only write a new post every week or even two weeks. Just wanted to get that out.

So for todays post, I am going to talk about school assemblies: the pros and cons. Why don't we start with the pros. School assemblies are needed to make sure students actually know what is happening in their school. It is a gathering where no one is exempted except for those who feel like skipping it. During school assemblies teachers talk about really informative things like when are you going to give your text book back and if the students are really quiet, go down amongst them and "pat" them on the back.

What I like most about school assemblies is when the headmaster speaks. I know it is long and stuff, but he actually talks about things that interest me like how the school is doing and what is he going to do to improve it. To me, that helps me love my school more. Also, these assemblies are the few times that the school is actually pretty quiet. The quiz that they have every now and again is also very good and makes things interesting.

Now for the cons. This might go on for awhile. Okay when someone wins something, yeah its okay for them to go on stage to receive prize. Really, its okay. But when 100 people are going to get a prize such as what happened yesterday at school, well it is not necessary. Because of that my sports class which is only once a week, got cut into half. Even if I did not have sports after that, it gets really hot once you pass the 30 minute mark of assembly. By that time we should be in our class studying.

As you know I am a prefect. So once a year we have this special assembly for us. It's okay cause its the prefects special day and everything but it goes on for a long time. Almost an hour. By that time, its so hot. If I was a normal student, I would be thinking, why should I sit in the middle of the sun while I watch these prefects do their thing for one hour. I just think that we should be more clever it cutting down the time that is taken into doing this.

Also, I think the assembly should start earlier. From what I see, the teachers always ask us to hurry up and things and for the prefects, be at school by 7.20 so you can get things prepared. Well, I come to school at 7.30 and on mondays, I see all the chair for the teachers ready but the assembly does not start till until 7.40 or even 7.45. I know we can't start right on time cause please, we are just a school but it also should not be delayed that much.

What I post above if based on what I observe and I am not blaming anyone for anything cause I know I am also at fault sometimes. I just had nothing else to post about. Bye, and don't forget to leave comments.

Super Mario Bros.

Sorry I have not posted anything for like weeks. I have been so busy with my debate team. I had a debate competition last friday. The topic was "women are the weaker gender" and as the government I was to support this topic. How sexist. It is against what I believe in. Anyways I lost but it was okay.

Anyways, back to the topic, I finally finished the basic levels of Super Mario Bros. I say basic because there are another two worlds (levels) which are still locked, but those are only extra worlds. I have made it to the last boss level, so to me I have finished the basic game. For those people who don't know what Super Morio Bros is, I hope this next paragraph will help you.

The main character in which you play is Mario. His beloved princes got kidnapped by the evil Bowser jr. To save the princess he has to chase Bowser jr. and so you take on these worlds on which have an average of 6 levels in each. In each world on average, there will be one mini boss level and one main boss level. There is world 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8. Remember the two other levels which have yet to be unlocked, well those are world 4 and 7.

For most people who have played this game before, may it be the old one or the new 2006 one (which is the one I played) world 1 is the most recognisable world. It is the most cheery of all worlds. The first mission is obvious the easiest and to me, one of the most fun. World one's boss level is also easy. World 2 takes you to this desert themed area. Here the levels are still easy but you can feel that things are just about to get harder.

World 3 and 5 are okay. They are just okay worlds and nothing to shout about. Once you reach world 6, things really get hard and you might be stuck on a level for a very long time but this is nothing compared to the last few levels of world 8. I must admit, I cheated a bit in the biggest boss level of world 8. I tried so much to beat both bowser jr and his father but I could not do it. So in the end, I used one of my power ups if you may that makes me huge and all I had to do was to jump on both of them. Yes you can say I am a cheater and stuff but I was stuck on that level for weeks and I could not take it anymore.

I see that I have forgotten to explain to you what are power ups. Well, as you go to each level you will pick up power ups. The most basic power up makes you a bit bigger but not huge like I explained just now. It just makes you a bit bigger. After that you pick up another power up that gives you the capability to shoot fire balls at your enemy. This is very good but some enemies are able to withstand the fire balls, thus making them useless.

There are more rare power ups that make you extra tiny so you can go into some tight corners to get extra stars and stuff. Then there is the one that makes you huge, like 20 times your normal size. With this all you do is jump on you enemies and make your way to the end of the level. But do remember that it only last for a few seconds and if there is something solid in your way, you wont be able to move forward and you would waste that rare power up. There are other power ups but I don't have the time to explain them all.

Anyways, Super Mario Bros. is an awesome game and if you have a Nintendo Ds, you must get it. It may get annoying at times because you can't get through some levels, but when you do get through a level, there is this sense of pride that you really enjoy for 10 seconds. Overall, graphics is a 10/10, game experience 9/10, time that it takes to finnish it (higher the rating, the faster it is to finnish) 5/10. Multiplayer 11/10 (it is awesome)

On average, I would give it a 8/10. Thats all for now. Please feel free to leave any comments.

Overview of my First Term Test

Hello again. Today I got the results of all my subjects for my first term test which I have been posting about every now and again since I started blogging for the third time. I will assure you that there will be no more talk about this test after this post because I know it is of no importance of you. So anyways, the tests were held two weeks ago and comprised of 8 different papers. The first would be Bahasa Melayu (BM), followed by English (BI), Math (MT), Science (SC), Geography (GEO), History (SEJ), Life Skills Class (KH) and Agama (AG).

I will start with BM. This was one of two papers I did not fare that good in. I only got 65% which is a B in Malaysian standards. At first it was 60% (C), but after two corrections I managed to get 65%. I don't really know the reason I got such a bad mark. To tell you the truth, I really thought I could get an A for it after doing the paper. They are still a few questions that are debatable but I will let it pass since there is no use in trying to fight a dying cause. Since this was the first results I got, it really made me panic about how I would do in the rest.

The second subject would be English. This, I did very good in. I got 100%. Even if I did very good in it, I did not feel very good because of my BM paper. I would rather give away 15 points from my English paper and add it to my BM. I bet a lot of people want to do that. Nothing much more to say about English.

Next would be Math. I got 92 which to me is very good. I did waste one mark. This happened because instead of putting A,B,C or D as my answer for my 10th objective question, I wrote 10. Wow Zoie, that was awesome! Anyways, besides that there were only a few mistakes. I think I did very good in my maths but it still needs some polishing.

Science. This is the second subject that I did not do so good in. I got 85%. I know it is an A but I was so much more better in my Science in the past year. You may say I am not grateful but I am just posting what I think about. What really surprised me (and my classmates) was when Ong got 99% for her Science. That is next to impossible. This mainly has to do with this one question. It asks you to draw a diagram of an artery, vein and one more thing I can't remember. It does not write label in the question. Anyways, I still labeled 'lumen' in all three diagrams. There was still one other thing I did not label. So I got the whole question wrong. It was 2 or 3 marks. I should at least get half mark for labeling 'lumen' and drawing the diagram. The thing is, how did Ong know how to label it. It baffles me.

Next it Geography. I got 87%. This is a great improvement since last year because I only got 1A out of the four geo papers in that year. There was one main factor that caused that but I don't have the time and energy to explain that. There are 2 questions that are being debated with my teacher. She will tell us tomorrow if I get to add a few marks or if it stays the same. I am hopping to get the extra marks.

History. I also got 87% in this subject and I share this mark with one of my friends who also got 87% for both Geo and Sej. Thats cool I guess. Anyways, 87% is what I expected for my Sej. The questions were not that hard but did pose a challenge to me. There was only one correction for this paper but it did not effect my mark.

Now I am coming up to my Life Skills Class paper. I got 83% and weirdly enough I shared the highest marks with two other students. I was lucky I got away with an A. Some of my friends were even luckier. They got 80%. They better hope there are no corrections that might reduce their marks to a B. That would be terrible.

Finally Agama. I got 81%. This is the first A I ever got for Agama since standard 2, 6 years ago. Boy was I happy. I was lucky the teacher who ticked it was nice and corrected me and still gave me marks. I still can't believe I got an A. I was so happy when I got the results. I hope I can pull this of again in my PMR which is in 7 month.

Overall, I think I did very good. Even if I got a B for BM, I got A's for all that other subjects. This is the first time I got 7A's out of the 8 subjects. Before this I only managed on 5A's out of the same 8 subjects. My average result for this test was 85%, the highest I ever scored as far as I can remember. That is all I have for you. Please don't be shy to leave a comment. Bye.

The weeks holiday

Hi. Sorry I have not posted anything for more then a week. It is just that I have been so busy with nothing that I did not have the time to post something new. So anyways, I got my bm results for my test and they were not very good. 63% actually. Real bad. The holidays started last week. I went to PD for the raptor watch which is when all these migratory birds fly over PD. There is a carnival and everything. I entered a treasure hunt and won a 2 night stay at a hotel, so that was good.

Got the new FIFA game finally. It is okay. They have futsal on it now which is fun. The rest is the same. Only a few changes here and there. Playing online is easier and faster then before which is wonderful because it used to be so hard to play online with the older FIFA game.I am still not done with my Mario bros. Still stuck on the last level. It is so hard.I think I will just go online for a walkthrough. Also got this new game for my ds. It is called Mario hoops 3 on 3. It is basketball but with Mario. Very fun.

The rest of the week was good except for the part where my bag got stollen. That was bad but at least I could get a new pencil box and calculator. Went to MPAJ on Wednesday for my history class project. They gave us a presentation and tons of books and free food. I got a lot of info from that presentation. It makes my history project easier to do. Played futsal with friends on Thursday. My body was so sore by Friday.

So went to Frasers hill on Friday. So nice and cold. There is so much mist. I can only see 2 meters in front on me. Went walking all over the town. Still there now. Just did some archery this morning. Only 5 out of 10 hit the target. The rest went flying away. My sister is watching the new shrek movie. So I have nothing else to blog about today. Sorry for the short post. Until next time bye.

Catching Up

Hi again,

I am just going to continue from my last post on Thursday. What happened since then and stuff. Friday was like any other Friday. Was so worried I would not be able to play football because they had this anti mosquito campaign. In the end all they did was do a fairly good performance and sprayed mosquito spray on all the teachers. Why? I asked the same question. Anyways it was over in 15 minutes and I was able to play football.

Had Saturday school. Did not do much. Half the teachers came in but we only studied very little. Only 22 out of 42 students came in my class. When I got home I had to do tons of studying. Sunday was good I guess. Went to look at new cars with my family.

Checked out Honda and Peugeot. Took a ride in the CR-V and the Peugeot 3008. I must say the 3008 beats the CR-V in all ways. To start with it has a TURBO engine. It comes standard with leather seats and the compartment between the driver and passenger seat is like a mini fridge. COOL! The roof of the car is also all glass. It has so many other cool features but my dad says he thinks Peugeot is not reliable. WHAT!! It won best car of the year in some european car magazine. He gave an excuse that there was no good word about that car from the States. Anyways it is his money, but I do think the CR-V is to simple if you compare it with the 3008.

One of these days we are going to try out the new Accord face-lift. My mum is not real found of getting another accord because it is to long and she finds it difficult to park it in the small parking lots in AP and stuff. I will agree with her as long as it brings my father closer to buying the 3008. I am just going to have to see.

There was a spot-check on Monday morning. As a prefect I had to help all the teachers in checking all the students. I don't understand why you can't bring liquid paper to school. Anyways I helped and found nothing. (I can't say anything more about what I found or did not find as this post might be read by teachers of my school, but really I did not find anything) The funny things was that the teachers did not bother to check the prefects. If they checked us I think a lot of the prefects would be in big trouble.

Just today I had my KH test. It was okay. The first 30 questions were easier then the last 30. I have a positive feeling that I can score an A on that subject. Went for a jog all around Taman Tar. It was the furthest I ever ran. (6.1 km) Thats is all for now. Please don't be shy to leave comments.

Tetanus

Today was the day my form finally got the tetanus shot. Before I tell you about the pain and stuff I must rewind back a few weeks.

We are all at school like normal. Everything is normal except that somehow it came to our attention that the Ministry of Health was giving tetanus shots to all form 3 students. Everyone panicked, I mean everyone. Even I felt a bit frightened about the whole idea. I have not received a injection in so long. The next day if I  am not mistaken our class teacher gave out forms for us to sign regarding the shot. We all thought it was the end.

As the days passed by, people who already took the shot from before told everyone about how painful it would be. That was not good for the rest of us. (ADEESAKH!!!) Almost every time someone came in to make an announcement in our class I would say "tetanus, tetanus" and all my friends would looks at me and I was like okay....... (my left hand is still sore from the shot)

The next week we started to cool down. We rarely talked about the shot. Then came today. We just finished BM class. Our next subject was Agama. Our teacher did not enter the past two classes for that subject so we were all hopping she would not for the third time. Suddenly a very AWESOME Shibel shouted out to everyone that the tetanus shot was today and in a couple of minutes.  The class went wild.

I went to Shibel just to see a teacher right next to her. The teacher told us that we would have to go down to the Hall to receive our shot around 9. At that time it was 8:57. Just Great! Our Agama teacher came in. Me and Azeem went down to the hall to check if we had to do the shot. We did, but we had an hour or so. We both went back to class where Azeem made up a fake story that the van that was full of nurses that would bring us torture crashed. A few peopled believed it. Some did not. He told the truth eventually.

During Agama class I kept on looking out at the corridor waiting for someone to call us downstairs. It was not that I wanted to do it, just that I wanted it to be over. This form 4 or 5 boy finally called us down. Once downstairs we sat for at least 20 minutes doing nothing until finally the teacher in charge told us that the nurses went for a break and that we should go and eat. So I did and came back.

The nurses were back. After everyone was inside they briefed us on how much fun they were going to have hurting us. Azeem went first. I had to record him. My hand were shaking cause I was next. It was my turn. Rolled up my sleeve. The nurse wiped some alcohol on my shoulder. She took the needle. Dam it was long! At then, nothing... I could not even feel the needle go in and only barley felt the push of the shot. I was done.

Looked at all my other friends who had yet to get the shot. Some were scared, other were not. Some looked like they rather just die there and then. After 5 minutes I could feel my arm going numb. There was some pain. Some of my other class mates had really painful shots. I don't know why. Maybe it depends on the thickness of your fatty layer or just where the shot was gave. Anyways, that is my story about tetanus.

Weekend Review

Another school week passed by. It seems that time moves so fast. Last Monday feels like yesterday but then again I can't remember anything that happened on that day. What did I do? Still can't remember. Oh well. Can't believe I will be the guy who carries the big ugly fake flower tree on Monday. Who do you call that person? Flower boy? That sounds gay. There has to be a word that describes someone who carries a big ugly fake flower tree during a ceremony. I should ask someone. You may ask how I got into this trouble? Well it is very easy to explain.

Every year the prefects have this thing call "watikah pelantikan" or something like an official election of a prefect. In this big ceremony on which all the students have to watch, (which I feel bad for because it has nothing to do with them) my friend and I have been selected through close examination to do this so call carry the ugly fake flower tree. I take it as a blessing in disguise because where I am located, there is ample shade, but then again there is the chance I will have to stand up for a full one hour knowing how long this ceremony last for.

Moving on to the weekend. I woke up with a upset stomach on Saturday. I had so much Italian food on Friday that I could not think of breakfast, but I had it anyways after 30 minutes of Call of Duty. I was getting better at that game during the holidays but since I only play it on the weekends now my performance online has only been average. My longest kill streak to date is 13 and most kills by the end of the round is 30 which is very good since very few people manage that. ( the overall kills, a 13 kill streak is hard to do but not hard to come by) Now I am getting less and less kills. When I played on friday I got chopper support (7 kill streak, GOOD!) but then on Saturday and today I only got up to UAV support (3 kill streak).

The rest of the day was okay. I did some studying, played mario bros. I am going to have a whole post on that game once I am done with it. I am on world 8's last mission. It is huge! Gona take me at least an hour to finnish it. I also played some tennis with my mum in the evening. She beat me but that was only because I had a lame racket. Excuses, excuses!

Had Mc'Ds new FAMILY BOX for breakfast. It was good. I love the hash browns. YUM!! Did minimal studying today. Only did Agama, Sejarah and English. My dad finally found out how to stream videos from the computer to my tv using my router. (another advantage of having High Speed Broadband) Before this I always had to use an external hard drive to get videos from my computer to my tv which was a drag. Technology makes us humans more and more lazy. I read this article somewhere that not only does the United States have the biggest people in the world, but their pets are the fattest to. What is happening to the once great country which is now plagued by obesity and Bush.

Pokemon

Today I had to stay back for my extra activities which were the weekly English Society and St.Johns meeting. Both were good. In English I had lots of fun playing a game which is in some sort like 20 questions except that other people know what you are and you don't so you have to ask them Yes and No questions until you can guess your character correctly. The only problem I have with these English Society meetings are that it is to short. I would like it to last the full 1 hour and 30 minutes and not this short 50 minute meetings.

In St.Johns we had to learn how to tie a bandage and help a person into the recovery position. Since I went to the First Aid course last year and already learnt all this stuff I had to teach a group of 6 St.Johns members. The thing is I forgot everything from that course. Instead most of the members in my group knew it. MALU! So after refreshing my mind I acted like I knew everything. I also forgot to point out that my group consisted of Tiru and Alif who found it amusing to go watch these form 5 students play badminton every 5 minutes. I was running all over to get my group in check.

Anyways.....

Ariff with the help of Nadim have encouraged me in trying out Pokemon. Since the new Black and White version are coming out in less then a month I will wait awhile until I embrace Pokemon again. I think I will start with the Black Version cause it just seems cooler. This leaves me 2 weeks to try to finnish my Mario Bros. I am on world 8 but still have world 4 and 7 to complete. That game is so addictive. I can never stop. I wonder if they have that on the wii. I think there would be a version for that console. Should look it up.

KH tomorrow. Gona have to finnish my "Kerja Kayu". It looks good so far. I can't mess it up because this project accounts for a part of my PMR. I think it should be done in two weeks or so. Oh wait, in two weeks I will be having my first term test. Since January I have not learnt any theory about KH. I know that what we are doing in our project reflects the whole of chapter one in KH form 3 syllabus but technically my class has learnt no KH, but I think this is the same throughout the school.

I think this is all for today. Bye!

Sunday, February 20, 2011

It's a Sunday. First term tests are coming up in two weeks and yet I still have no idea on what is coming out for Sejarah and Kemahiran Hidup. Started studying last Monday but the Hard Core Studying needs to start tomorrow. I only have revised 8 out of the unknown amount of units coming out for Agama. I kinda have Math and Science covered. Geo should be okay but yet again that paper is one of the most controversial of all because of the wrong readings in the map and all.

I really need to get an A for BM. It is crucial. The last time I got an A was in the first term test of last year. English should be okay. If I ever get a B on that god is sending me a message of some sort. My goal for this test is 6A's minimum. Anyways...........

Poor, poor Chelsea
I am bummed that Chelsea got kicked out of the FA cup. I watched the highlights. They had chance after chance to get a goal. They wasted their 1 goal lead (as they always do) to a simple free kick, not that I am saying anything bad about them especially their keeper Cech. The penalties were wasted. Cole should have kicked it in. Waste, waste, waste! They better finnish in the top 4 in the barclays premier league and shove Tottenham back to fifth.

I am always lazy to go to my St.John's meeting. I have made a decision to go every other meeting or twice a month. I have a lot of fun in my english club. This goes the same for bowling. I don't like St.John's because there are to many people in the meetings. By April less and less students will come to the meetings and thats when I will try to come the most. It was so funny how Pn.Tee would not sign my koku book for last year because I did not pay the annual fee. Ha ha. I still got a B though for last years overall koku mark. It's better then the C from form 1.

I don't think I can think of anything else to blog about today so I am going to stop here. Until next time.

New Face to my Blog (again)

Okay so I started this blog like so long ago and gave it up like a year later. In 2010 I thought of blogging again so I tried again and gave up AGAIN few months later. Since Ariff has been writing in his own blog he gave me a reason to try this out again for the third time. Let's see how it goes.

Well let's see, how has the year been so far. Okay I guess if you ask me. I mean I have not gone through the worst day of the year yet so I can still look forward to that. School is still the same in a way except for the stupid PMR's in October. The great and awesome lembaga is still being it's self. Good teachers in class(No more Pn.Tee) . So yeah it's kinda been okay this first two months.

Just today I got the letter from the school asking about having extra classes after school. Should I agree or should I not. I mean my parents are going to make me agree but in my heart should I agree to these classes or not. One side says that it will be good and helpful. Another says that it will cramp up my time even more. With tuition and things I can imagine my life being very difficult. This could also mean that I am getting lazy on the one year I should be doing the opposite.

Anyways.......

This is the second year En.Sajoli has been in our school. I do see a lot of changes. For instance in form 2 they fixed the basketball court which needs fixing again thanks to some awesome students. One thing I must not agree with his plan to make SEMINDA all awesome and stuff is the golf course. I mean there is no need for it. The felid it's self is in horrid condition even after improving it by a tiny bit. This reminds me about football but more about that later.

Back to En.Sajoli. This year he is fixing up the "kandang" at the back of the school. I think that is a very good idea. It will be nice to not have all our "ceramah's" in the half class half hall at the ground floor of block A. That place is so hot and cramped. I am so happy my class is not situated there.

Moving on,

I don't know why but I have really got into football this past year. It must have been the world cup. I suddenly love it. Before the world cup I did not understand football and even found it a bit stupid. Now I can't wait for the next time we have our sports class so we can go out and have a blast. I think I am going to give football a post of its own later on since there is so much I want to write about it.

So I think this is all for now. Until next time.
